Sorry this post is coming so late in the day! I want to welcome all of the wonderful bloggers from Fitblogger!
The Fit Bee
began 4 short months ago. I originally intended to track my weight loss and fitness journey. After I started blogging and began interacting with my readers, I realized this was more fun than I had anticipated and has taught me so much.
I write about my own struggles and I even recently exposed myself. That experience, has helped open my eyes to exactly why I became so over weight and helped me appreciate how far I’ve come in 8 short months.
In February 2010, I joined Weight Watchers and it has been the best thing I could have done for myself.
With Celiac Disease I have to eat gluten free. It was challenging in the beginning with Weight Watchers since so many of their foods contain gluten. This led me to create my own recipes that I love to share with readers.
Eight months ago, I wasn’t able to run a mile. I now run 5Ks and am working towards10Ks by the springtime. It has been quite the fitness journey.
The Fit Bee is the story of 1 woman overcoming medical condition and a super busy schedule to get fit and healthy. It is not about being on a diet, it is about committing to a lifestyle change. I hope to learn from all the other fit bloggers out there and inspire people who think they can’t do it. I used to be one of those people too.
I am happier and healthier than ever before and am working on my 2 ultimate goals: becoming a lifetime Weight Watchers member and running the Boston Marathon!
